The Masters-winning driver
How well do you know your driver? We’re going to breakdown the tech inside the Masters-winning Paradym driver and how it'll help you play better golf.
Equipment
Some names can be spotted all over every single Tour: on golf balls rolling towards the hole, on putters held aloft in victory and on drivers striping balls down the fairways.
Callaway has earned a reputation as one of the game’s best across all those categories, but today we’re focusing on drivers because the new Paradym range has us buzzing to tell you all about it.
The obvious place to start here seems to be the looks. Callaway puts a lot of emphasis on making something you love the look of, and you can see that in the way these drivers look just sitting on the shelf. They look stunning in the shop thanks to a sharp, streamlined aesthetic and a camouflage-like pattern on the sole that we think you'll love. Those looks carry through to the moment you put them behind the golf ball; a tried & tested shape giving you confidence when you really need to find the fairway.
The big headline we’re seeing in these drivers is the reduction in weight; making the body as lightweight as possible by having no metal connecting different parts of the clubhead. The 360 carbon fibre wrap plays a huge part in allowing this to happen, as does the new A.I.-designed Jailbreak technology, which is 25% lighter than the previous version.
What does that do for you? Well, it allows Callaway to move that weight around for your benefit. By doing so, it gives you more control over the accuracy and shape of your drives. This also allows Callaway to be more precise and fine-tune the performance benefits in each model to give each individual golfer exactly what they want.
Speaking of the individual models, let’s explore what’s actually available…
Range architecture
We’ll start with the standard Paradym driver. This driver is all about accuracy, with perimeter weighting added to give you more forgiveness. If you’re looking for help keeping it in play more often, this is the best option for you.
The Paradym X also offers forgiveness. In fact, the larger head and easy launch takes that forgiveness even further. But, this time, Callaway is targeting players with who struggle specifically with the slice by incorporating draw-bias weighting.
Finally, we have the Paradym Triple Diamond: a driver made for Tour players. Any advanced driver of the ball will love the way this model send the ball fizzing through the air and eeks out every last yard. From the flight to the end result, this driver gets the most out of your game if you’re able to consistently find the middle of the face.
Whichever model you think is right for your game, you can get it through us. But putting the right one in your bag is critical, which is why it’s vital you visit us and take advantage of our professional custom fitting service.
