Pro's Day - As we approach my annual day of fun and hilarity, just a gentle reminder that the entry sheet is now up and located in the pro shop. The event will take place on Saturday, 15 August and the format as usual is a fun day with some fantastic prizes. A team consists of three players, you pick your team and you pick your time! Swing by the shop or give us a call to register your entry, it's one not to be missed!
Fraser on tour - Fraser was again away last week attempting to qualify for an event during August and I can happily report he was successful and will again be away playing while I hold the fort! There's definitely a case for "the tail waggling the dog" with all this golf stuff! I'm sure, like me, you all wish him well and I'll update you nearer the time.
Single-seater golf cart for sale - Single-seater golf cart, charger and batteries included, folds up for the car, twist and go, retails new at over £2500. First £600 takes it away!! Demo available at the pro shop.
The shop continues to strive to stock the product for the discerning golfer and my buying for 2016 is now well under way. Should there be anything you feel might be suitable that we don't have in store feel free to pop us an email with your suggestions - get in touch here!
We have as always got some in-store specials so swing by for a browse.
Some great free PR - Over recent weeks we have been fortunate enough to have generated some great feedback and free PR for the club and course. Our most recent one was by Graham Speirs who played with us last Tuesday, a nice little mention in Saturday's Times as well as some notes on Twitter can only help drive our great facility, publicity these days that's simply hard to buy! We have had a few visitors directly after The Open Championship that hadn't heard of Lundin before and through the powers of social media has a allowed us to generate a little extra business! All in all a very successful period.
Lundin Ladies - The ladies club are having an event on Saturday, 8 August called "Little & Large". Details enclosed here and all are welcome.
Cox Trophy - Saturday's Cox Trophy saw Scott McBride lift the trophy with an excellent nett 65 (13) pushing Kyle Wands and William McWilliams into second place with nett 67s. A great day for scoring with the lack of breeze, a great effort none the less. A considerable amount of Non Returns during the day might make it worth contacting us for a little mid-season check up!! You know where we are!
This weekend - A busy schedule this weekend with the August Medal on Saturday and the Invitational Fourball on Sunday so remember to check the tee sheet if you have a regular Sunday game as the first tee is closed from 8.30am.
