Note to all golfers - Please note that weather permitting there will be traffic lights in operation on Leven Road on Monday, 2 March due to maintenance taking place alongside hole 13. With this in mind we ask all golfers to allow a little extra time for travel to ensure your tee time is not missed!
With a cold, crisp and white Saturday morning we managed yet another round of the Winter Eclectic and with very few still to play, there's still time to progress up the table!! This week's winning score was Alex Watt with a very respectable 39 points, closely followed by Stephen Robertson on 38 and Dean Robertson, Scott Brady and James White on 37.
Number 12 Eclectic is scheduled for this coming Saturday so fingers crossed for good weather! As a parting note to the competition update, can I please remind everyone to hand in their scorecards - three disqualifications last week people!!!!
Fraser's trip to Scotscraig last week didn't go exactly to plan! I believe it was a challenging day for all involved - let's leave that discussion at Scotscraig!! This week saw him head to Crail on Monday for The PGA Fourball Winter Series with partner Gary Forrester.
In extremely tough conditions, all was looking well through 14 holes at minus one with some simple holes to finish; confidence was high. A bogey, bogey, bogey, bogey finish saw them go from hero-to-zero in four holes!!! Lesson to be learned? CONCENTRATE harder!!! I feel that soon Fraser will manage to get his own back on my harsh comments!

Many thanks to all who took the time to pop down over the weekend for some great bargains, with a little shop re-arranging and a few sales over the weekend we've certainly made a little space for our 2015 spring/summer ranges due in real soon!
