There's still time... With applications to join your council here at the club closing in a matter of days (February 1st) there's still time to submit that application! Any interested parties should send an email to the office on secretary@lundingolfclub.co.uk. Stand up and be counted! |
Not a lot to report! With the clubhouse closed and myself unable to trade there's not a great deal to report this week, we continue to see good numbers of golfers, we are also still seeing a heightened number of no shows and last minute cancellations! Please continue to be as courteous as possible. Saturday was fantastic, although temporary greens we only had one no show with everyone else pitching up for their tee times.
If you are fortunate enough to be playing please please take extra care in some of the areas accessed by the walkers out stretching their legs, as we are seeing an increased level of activity, last weekend was extremely excessive! |

Course status My thanks to everyone for the reduced number of phone calls checking on the state of play each morning, I continue to liaise with the green staff first thing and update the 'Course Status' on our club webpage as soon as advised, hopefully it won't be too long until it's back to a regular 'Open For Play' Daily updates can be found here. |

Tee times Just a gentle reminder that if you do wish to play after 3:00pm that you please give me a call on (01333) 320051 to register your tee time, only players booked in this way will have access to the course due to the track and trace requirements. You may have also noticed that we have opened up an extra tee time in the mornings, with 8:20am now being the first available time, as the mornings brighten and sunrise changes we will continue to open up these times to maximise the availability, we are full,aware that it can be frustrating trying to secure a game, especially whilst we play in groups of two. |
Fixtures 2021 We recently released our proposed calendar for the coming season, we appreciate no one knows how things will pan out and there may be change, however, please put the essential dates in your diary! |
