Friday evening saw the draw made for the clubs visit to Dumbarnie on August 26th, in the end, we had 333 members for 72 places, a fantastic effort and application.

Please note that the draw has already changed!

Some members are now not able to play and to ensure we send a full squad please keep an eye on the draw sheet located in the pro shop.

The 261 golfers that were not successful have been put back into the tombola as individuals and when a member calls off we automatically redraw another lucky member and place them in the draw!

Payment can be made to the office, payment must be made by 3pm on Friday 21st or your name will be removed.

The draw is correct at the time of production of my newsletter, but please be aware this may change.

Everyone would like to be told they’re a ‘great iron player’, but you’re making it a lot harder for yourself if you don’t have irons that are matched-up to get the best out of your swing.

Think you're not good enough to be fitted?

The number of golfers who have not been fitted for their irons is far higher than it should be. We often hear golfers say they’re not good enough to get custom fitted, but we are here to dispel that myth and explain why getting fitted WILL improve your iron play.

Consistency is critical in your iron play and being fitted for your irons will give you this, plus improve your accuracy and make any errors less extreme.

There are so many factors that influence our ability to strike the ball better and hit the ball where we want it to go. One thing you may not have tried before is Callaway’s Mavrik irons, which feature a Standard, Max and Pro model within the range.
