COVID protection
My personal thanks to everyone that made the effort on Saturday to play in the first of our Pro Shop Sweeps. With 53 players on Week One, I think I'd class that as a relative success. Having had a considerable number of members asking about competitive golf, I hope what we offered on Saturday is a good stop-gap until we get back.

The scoring as expected was exceptional and with the course in fantastic order the feedback as always was great. See below the results from Week One: 1st - Charles Gilmour - 41 points

Thank you for your continued support
As I write this (Tuesday), we await another announcement, will we be back to three or fourballs? Who knows. By the time you read this, we will have had our instructions, let's hope we take another step towards the new norm. My thanks to everyone for being so accommodating with the measures we've had to introduce and a huge thank you for your continued support. It feels a little like Big Brother, now on day 18 of 11 - 12 hour days, it's a tough old world we now live in, certainly a huge contrast to the nine weeks of lockdown. Stewart sends his regards to everyone, he remains on Furlough until such times we see an increase in the business, a challenging time for us all, let's hope for some changes, some relaxing in the measures currently in place allowing us a little visitor traffic and a move to larger groupings. |
Watch this space
Since re-opening at the end of May, many of you have been asking me about Scotland's newest property which opened the same day on our doorstep. Those of you who received the Captain's update last week would have read the announcement that we have now secured a date in July. The exact numbers at this point are unknown, however, I'd suggest keeping an eye on your inboxes to ensure you're included in the ballot where the lucky golfers picked will be able to play for the measly sum of £29. |

Quick reminder
As a gentle reminder our booking system opens daily at 7.30am both online as well as here in the Pro Shop, still in 2 balls, the tee does book up quickly so you need to be on the ball. Should the grouping numbers increase this will free up, however, many are very appreciative of the sub 3-hour rounds as previously mentioned. |

What's new?
Some new arrivals this week, not quite the year we had hoped for to date coming out of a wet winter and thankfully we managed to delay/cancel a good chunk of our orders. However, we will continue to trade as best we can under the current circumstances and as I mentioned above, the support is greatly appreciated.
