| Keeping busy
| Now two weeks in, the tee times continue to fill up quickly, although there has been a noticeable calming in the afternoons. As a gentle reminder, members guests are now permitted, still two balls at this time, however, we hope for a relaxation very soon In week one of our return, we saw 758 member rounds to the 497 of the same week last year, 2019's figure made up of member, member-guests and paying visitors, a welcomed sight to see so many of you make use of the course during these trying times. The greens staff are still only operating with three men, I'm sure you'll all agree the guys have done an incredible job. As you are all aware, we relaxed the two-game rule fairly quickly, all we ask is that whilst the tee sheet is still busy that if you do play multiple times during the week that you try to spread your time usage allowing other members to have the opportunity of a game. |

With no competitive golf scheduled for now, I'm keen to keep that competitive edge in us alive. So, with that in mind, this Saturday sees the first of my "Pro Shop Sweeps" Sweep and twos as normal, can I ask where possible for anyone wishing to enter to bring the correct change to keep contact to a minimum. £2 sweep and £2 twos as normal. |

With many of us not being able to even swing a club over recent months, it's possibly an ideal time to get back into the swing of things with some assistance. From next Thursday we hope to be able to offer our tuition service on the range between 12:00pm - 4:00pm. For more information, please give the shop a call on (01333) 320051 or click on the button below. Social distancing and sanitising will be in practice, so no need to worry. |
