Our SALE is still in full swing and we still have some fantastic bargains!
Over recent weeks there has been a noticeable increase in the amount of pitchmarks on our greens. While in most normal situations the general reply is that it's the visitors, I can confirm that at this current time the visitor traffic is low and the worst days for these pitchmarks is the weekend when only members play!
Whilst Willie and his team try their best to repair the pitchmarks not repaired we would like to ask everyone to ensure that not only do you repair your own pitchmark but also one other.
Should you require a pitchfork to help you complete our request please pop by the shop where I'd be happy to give you a complimentary fork. Here you will see a short video to show you exactly how to process the repair -click on the image to view.
Many golfers, when asked to ensure they repair their pitchmarks, advise me that they don't hit the ball high enough to do any type of damage and I can confirm that this is not the case! All balls landing on the putting surfaces create some type of damage!
Have a little thought the next time you tee off in the DARK! Can you see your pitchmark? Can you repair something you can't see? Daylight comes in around 8am and it's not overly busy pre-9am, so have an extra twenty minutes in bed and leave your torches at home!
I thank you all in advance for your cooperation and let's see if we can help reduce the number of pitchmarks on our greens!
