Winter Eclectic

Another great Saturday with 71 players! Coming out on top this week was Scott Brady with an impressive 38 points, three players closely followed on 37 with 34 scraping you into the top ten. Twos returned £22.66 with James White carding two, decent lift!

A dry week scheduled with milder temperatures from Wednesday so be sure to get down for a game.

Keep your eyes peeled

A quiet week this week, the frost hitting us this morning (Monday) puts us on temporary greens, winter has really kicked in! I’m off to one of Foremost Golfs Roadshows today (Wednesday) so no doubt I’ll return a new man, full-on new ideas!

Club logo Christmas sweater order

As we do each year we will be placing an order for our club crested sweaters, this order will be placed in the early part of December so if you’re after a “V” neck, crew neck, zip neck or a slipover be sure to pop in and pick your colour and size. To guarantee the product for Christmas we need to be organised!

 

Weeks remaining to get yours

We’ve started to receive your Titleist ball personalisation orders in-store and it’s safe to say the promotion has captured the imagination of plenty of you.

If you haven’t order yours yet, you have a couple of weeks left before the deadline for Christmas delivery (9th December). You can choose from any model in Titleist’s range and can personalise your balls for FREE!

Course news

Course closed

As we are approaching the darker mornings please be aware that like previous years to allow Willie and the team to make the right decision on the course, when adverse weather hits us there may be a course closed sign on the first tee.

This will be monitored and as always we do our best to update the website on the course conditions around 8am. Details of which can be found at the top of the home page seen by clicking here.

 
 
 
Is it still too early to talk about it?

We might be five weeks away from the big day itself, but it won’t be long before radio stations start playing Jingle Bells and this year’s John Lewis ad captures the nation’s attention.
