Sunday saw the 2014 Junior Club Championship take place, with Stewart Philp (7) versus Jay Cunningham (12) In what was described by referee John Baxter as a very good game. Philp came out on top over Cunningham with a 3/2 victory. Congratulations to all who took part and we look forward to seeing Stewart awarded his trophy at our annual presentation of prizes in November.
Red Bull Challenge
Craig Maiden came out on top with a fantastic 3, 3 , 4, 3, 4 finish to win our heat, his name has been put forward to Red Bull and hopefully I'll be in touch with some great news after the closing date. I hope you all enjoyed your free can that "GIVES YOU WINGS"
Due to the lack of tickets for the BBQ scheduled for Saturday I'm afraid we've pulled the plug!!
The golf will still be going ahead as normal and we look forward to welcoming you on Saturday for our challenging fun day!!!

The Seniors coaching went well last week, apologies for the tractor in the middle of the green gents!! We endeavour to make it challenging!!
Moving forward from last week we would like to announce another couple of dates for your diary. On Tuesday the 19th August there will be a putting clinic and on Thursday 28th one for bunkers.
There are sheets on the members notice board, feel free to place your name down as places are limited. We apologise if these days don't suit everyone but we'll keep trying!!
