The Best In The Business!?
Surprise surprise more stock has arrived! With more choice than Tescos, this week has seen the delivery of some very smart Lundie Crested gillets, otherwise known to the mature gent as body warmers, and a selection of full and half sleeved wind tops. An essential piece of kit with the dry yet still cool and breezy weather we've been having!
As I walked around the shop this week, I did think that at this current time, nearing my ten years here at the club, that we've nailed it! The selection of product, the quality of the embroidery and the brands we stock, alongside the support from my buying group Foremost, all make the store as good as it's ever been!
Golf clubs have now become a custom-fit-only product and ensuring we can offer a world class fitting service for the spending of those hard earned pennies allows us to hold a larger and more varied stock, including clothing and footwear from all the leading manufactures, which I feel makes us one of the best in the business!
Stewart is off playing as I type, fingers crossed I'll have good news to report next week!

Well Done Paul
On another dry yet challenging day scoring was tough! Paul Vallance came out victorious on Saturday with an excellent 82-(12)-70 to pip Murdo McLeod and Steven Paterson Jnr to the winner's spot by one! With an SSS of 74 and reduction only, it just shows how tough the course is playing under the current conditions.
Two's were rare and with only six a share of £30.33 per two was a superb lift! Sadly again, we had an abundant amount of cancelations on Saturday and more no shows! Mornings are prime times here at Lundin and yet again I ask for your support on this as week after week we get comments from other members who are unable to get the time slots preferred, yet every week we have spaces appear which is a little unfair and some are regular offenders!! HELP US HELP YOU
Farewell To Jan & Ian
I'm sure by now that most of you are aware that, after many many years here at the club, Jan and Ian have decided to call it a day! Hurragh I hear you say, but I'm sure we'll see them around the village as they enjoy their retirement.
I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing the crazy chef and his good lady well, they'll be sadly missed. Our new stewards won't be with us until July but the council did a sterling job securing Gary and Elaine Woodward, currently based at The Golf House Club, Elie, the duo will bring a wealth of experience and possibly a little change to the club. In the interim, Gemma Clunie, will be captaining the ship and here in the shop we wish everyone the best of luck over the coming months.
Summer Come Early
What can I say?! Wow! It looks like July out there! Awesome!
