Spring Meeting
Firstly I must compliment everyone who played at the weekend in our Spring Meeting, what an entry! With a full tee sheet from 7.30 - 15.20 we had very few cancelations and only two no shows! Twos were worth a great £21.50 with Ian Seath sneaking a double for a £43 lift!
Scoring was also impressive and the winner of the first major of the year was Jeff Swan with an excellent 76 - (9) - 67 to hold off Keith Renton on 68 and a host of players on 69.
Incorporated in the event at the weekend was The Lombard Qualifier and my thanks to all who entered, Jeff Swan again paid his money and successfully qualified to join me in July at Craigielaw for the qualifier, I had the pleasure of Jeff's company a few years ago when he again won, I expect good things the second time round!
Prepared For Anything
Stewart has been with us a month already and he's now up to speed with who to avoid. The first of his coaching sessions took place yesterday for the seniors and I'd like to let you know that over the coming months Stewart will be coaching the Lundin Ladies Juniors and the Ladies themselves. there will be activity on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm should you wonder why there is a slightly higher footfall than normal!
Stewart will be holding a second class on Tuesday the 16th of May between 1pm and 2pm, the session will take place on the range and will cover the key fundamentals of the golf swing. The cost per person for the hour will be £5 per golfer, names to the Pro Shop as soon as possible please as there will be limited availability.

The last 7 days has seen the arrival of some Peter Millar Club Crested clothing, a second drop of Calvin Klein and some samples of some product for our 1868 range, with towels and balls already in-store - I think you'll agree we have some nifty accessories in-store!
With Galvin Green due later this week the shop is fit to burst with superb products!
What A Sight!
Our course is simply breath-taking at present, with the dry weather it really is playing well and looks way ahead of where we are normally for the beginning of May, preferred lies are now finished and fingers crossed some warmth is around the corner! Willie and his team do a sterling job and I'm sure you all agree that the course is in fantastic condition with only positive feedback from both members and visitors.
