This week I bring you news!
Sad yet exciting!
It's with great sadness yet excitement that, after almost three years with us here at Lundie, Fraser will be moving on to pastures new at the beginning of March.
Fraser has secured himself a fantastic position in the Golf Operations Team at Kingsbarns Golf Links where I'm sure he like his predecessor will do a superb job, I'm sure you'll all join me in congratulating Fraser on securing the position as we all realise he will be a great loss to us here at the club.
Exciting times ahead for us all, a new challenge at a new property for Fraser and for me here the hunt for a replacement has commenced!
Plenty time to pass on your good wishes as he'll be working every day for the next seven weeks!
It's been a busy old time of recent, a full tee sheet every day for the last two weeks; however things are back to normal as I type at the beginning of this week!
We had a couple of issues during the festive period where we did have a few golfers unlucky not to get out before 9am, thankfully this is only the second and third time this has happened in my nine years here, and with a bit of luck it won't happen again for another nine!
Please note that Saturdays at this time of year are busy days and tee times are like gold dust and all of us here at the club would appreciate full utilization of the times with as little cancelations as possible!
If you're looking to play early doors you'll need to be up with the Larks, an early start for an early time on a Saturday is required!
