Tom Currie Trophy

Last weekend saw a challenging weekend ofweather and an increase of the CSS to 73,although the numbers still looked good. Winningcompetitor Derek Clark held off Neil Harper bythree and a superb scratch 73 from Dave Imriesaw many handicap reductions. On the day therewere 17 NRs...oops! The aforementioned SpringMeeting is now full so good luck to allcompetitors.

Irrigation System

I think you'd all agree that our course is inabsolutely fantastic condition. Willie and histeam continue to strive for perfection and withthe recent four seasons in one day, I must takemy hat off to him as the greens and course aresimply superb at present. Over the next twoweeks we will be servicing and testing theirrigation system, a note to all early golfersthat there is a slight possibility you might getwet. You'll hear it before you feel it butplease tread with caution.

Fraser has been fortunate enough to be asked tocoach some of the new members of Lundin LadiesGC, and with this in mind we would like toadvise all our members that he will be coachingover the next three Fridays from 5:30pm until7:30pm utilising our facilities. This week is onthe putting green, next week the short game areaand the following week the practice ground.Minimal disruption is expected.
