Penultimate Eclectic
With only one Eclectic left to play, Saturday was very important for some golfers. Luckily the frost did not appear and play commenced, and what a day it turned out to be with glorious sunshine and very little wind, albeit very cold! Tommy Brown made great use of the weather conditions by shooting an impressive 42 points to win by one from Kenny Proctor, with Stuart Main and Scott Brady finishing tied 3rd on 40 points.
The Scratch Eclectic still stands with Joe Smith at the top on 55 with Stephen Rogerson, James White and Fraser on 57. Similar events unfolded with the handicap section with Peter Rodger still on 48.25! Neil Harper sitting second on 52.25 and Ian Adamson in third on 53.25. A lot to do this Saturday!
The Lundie scratch team travelled to Drumoig on Sunday. Having lost against Leven Thistle last weekend, the boys wanted to make ground up but unfortunately they missed out, losing 2.5 to 1.5.
On a more positive note, the handicap team claimed their league title last weekend - well done!
