Saturday saw the Winter Eclectic run as normal and with good conditions, scoring was again steady. Stephen Rogerson came out on top with a terrific 39 points, holding regular Phil Curley out on a countback - enough to keep him at the top of the tree. No disqualifications last week or non-returned cards so all-in-all it was a successful Saturday! With only two more weeks to go, things are still tight at the top and with everything crossed for this weekend, let's hope it goes down to the wire!
Willie and his guys continue to work hard on the course and have now given the greens their last burst of top dressing for the winter - pictured here.
With a double dose on Monday and Tuesday, it's onwards and upwards from here with only a matter of weeks until the season opener.
Be sure to pop by from Saturday onwards to enter our Prize Draw for a Motocaddy S1 Lead Acid golf trolley. At only £5 a square, it's a great piece of kit and a superb return on your money! RRP £299 - it would be rude not to enter!
Stock is still filtering in slowly with the season approaching and expected deliveries during March will see the shelves starting fill. Shoes from FootJoy, ECCO and Puma with clothing from Galvin Green, Oakley, OJ and Puma are just a few of the great brands we will have in store. Plenty of crested goods on order so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
I hope you enjoy the rest of my newsletter and have a great weekend!
