Our Christmas Sale continues with some great deals to be had! With travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow being hampered with the recent closure of The Forth Road Bridge, the pro shop is the ideal place to pop by for some Christmas bargains!
If you're not a shopper we'd be happy to supply a gift voucher that can be used in the coming months and should that not be suitable, try our click and collect service available by clicking here.
The Titleist free ball cresting offer has been extended until Thursday evening so be quick if you fancy some festive balls delivered to the shop! Order yours online here.
Friday last week saw a terrific turnout in the clubhouse for our Whiskey Tasting event. My thanks go to house convener Brian Maine and to our greens convener and whiskey guru, John Baxter, for bringing his work from the new Kingsbarns Distillery here to Lundie.
The night saw 58 attend with only two members falling to the nightmare that is the Forth Bridge, for what has been described as a most excellent social evening, well done all involved!
Sunday saw the Handicap Winter League team head to Leven to play against Leven Golfing Society and with some tired legs towards the end of their rounds, a 2-2 draw was all we could achieve on this occasion. It would seem that by looking at last week's team sheet, if your name isn't Stewart/Stuart you are not getting picked!
Sunday's home tie for our scratch team against Leven Thistle has been cancelled so as a heads up there are now some mid-morning times available for Sunday.
Saturday's Eclectic - There was no intention on mentioning Saturday's eclectic in my newsletter this week, however I feel that after the horrific weather we had and the fact that only two players made any attempt to play golf, a huge congratulations must go to Paul Bodger and Jeremy Williams! Safe to say it was get wet and wind swept or look after the children, so as expected the course won.
Winter Eclectic - As a note for the diary, we will be running the eclectic as normal on both Saturday, 26 December and Saturday, 2 January. Be sure to book your tee-time should you wish to play and blow those Christmas cobwebs away. Normal booking processes will operate, anyone unsure just drop us a line here.
