A fantastic day on Saturday brought home some brilliant low scores! Well done to John Paisley who shot a scratch 69 (5) pipping Steven Paterson Jnr by two shots. Long may the good weather continue, our biggest turnout for a Medal this year so far! Saturday coming sees the Birkmyre Gents' Open therefore the golf course will be closed for play, good luck to all members taking part.

Callaway X-Series

If you've been in the shop lately you will have noticed we have a great deal on the new Callaway X-Series range of golf clubs. The X-Series range is a lower price point from Callaway to get new technology into the golfers hands that still play with older equipment but do not wish to pay high prices for new bats. The clubs are also a very good starting set for the taller junior that may start to play more often. The pack comprises of a driver, fairway, hybrid and 5-SW which is a cracking deal!!! Black Widow Grip Deal

We still have our special deal on Black Widow grips at £2!!! A weekly golfer's grips should be changed at least once a year! There are however are some members who havent had their grips changed changed for some time, you know who you are!!! We all know how difficult it is to grip a golf club in the pouring rain, old grips will eventually simulate that feeling and become very slippy and hard to keep a hold of!!
