After a great weekend, the action is set to continue...
Saturday saw golfers of 9 and below compete for the Silver Medal with the top 16 qualifying for our Scratch Championship. Winning the Silver medal and taking the top spot was James White with an impressive total of 136, followed closely by Andrew Davidson on 138 after carding a second round 66. For those who carded a two in round one you receive £13.11 and in round two it was worth £6.44. Sunday was the Bronze Medal qualifying for the handicap championship and, with tougher conditions as the sun disappeared, the scoring was still impressive! Thomas Brown came out victorious winning the Bronze Medal with a nett 69, followed by John Kerr on 71. A two in the Bronze was slightly more rewarding as those who were successful will receive £28.00 each! Cub Knockouts will run this week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with the tee closed from 5pm in order to clear the course for competitors. Finals day is this Sunday 15th July with round one commencing at 12pm. We look forward to an exciting finals day on this, our 150th anniversary, and we hope you can all come out and support this great event!
