Changes afoot
Greetings Members, The welcome from members, all the clubhouse staff, professional shop & green keeping staff has been overwhelming and we are grateful for all their information as we adjust to our new surroundings. During our first month we have had the opening Taster Dinner Nights on the 14th & 15th July which were well received , we are grateful to all who attended, to those who could not get a table we apologise but look forward to seeing you on future evenings. We are now looking to develop the weekend dining offerings within the club and ask for your patience while we “find our feet” and get a feel for what is required for all club members, especially at this busy time of the season.
We have initially started by amending the opening hours to 9am to offer breakfast rolls to the early golfers, this has also been well received and we are also looking at the Hours of Catering Services that are currently available and are currently working with the committee to amend accordingly to bring a more even level of service to members across the board. The temporary Bar Snacks and Suppers menu has also been well received with praise given for the quality of food, this is an area which shall go under constant review and change over our first few months in order to have a more permanent yet seasonally changing offering. We are more than happy to listen to suggestions. We ask that you are patient with us in going forward, we believe in small steps equal big changes over time, we welcome your feedback in order to provide you with a product and service you will be happy to use over and over again. Thanks to Ron for use of this newsletter in order to get out to you what we are planning with the clubhouse services, we intend to utilise this newsletter and the LGC Facebook page to show forthcoming menus, social events and theme nights and to keep you up to date with any relevant catering information.
