Greetings golfers,
What a mixed bag of weather we've had over the last 7 days! It's hard to believe that only ten days ago we had temperatures hitting twenty seven, yet Monday saw weather more suited to the amazon rain forest than Fife! Hail stones and heavy heavy rain made play rather challenging!! The rainfall on Monday afternoon was incredible and it's a testament to Willie and the team for how quickly the water disappeared!
More Club Crested Clothing Now In!
Monday saw a delivery from Glenmuir; our Red, White & Blue range looks stunning with the club crest and is quite appropriate moving on from our green and white range from last week! With Father's Day not too far away keep your eyes peeled on our specials as well as our cool new sock range for that little special day gift.
Not Just For Father's Day...
You might have already seen that we are running a Father's Day Garmin promotion. We have 3 of their most popular models available at great prices (we've even matched AG on the S20). Now, whilst it is certainly true that a Garmin is a great gift for Father's Day, it is also a great gift for any golfer; whether you're a beginner or scratch golfer, knowing the distance to the flag is a must, and it is just as good a treat for yourself as it is for a loved one.
The limited time offer on our Garmin units are as follows:
- Garmin Approach S20 was £199 - NOW £149, save £50
- Garmin Approach G8 was £359 - NOW £309, save £50
- Garmin TruSwing was £129 - NOW £99, save £30

Course Update
At the end of last week our team were out in force doing some "POA BURSTING" and what a job they did!
The Poa Buster, for those who are not familiar with the terminology, is a machine that is set with angled hook like blades that remove seed heads and unwanted grasses, a fantastic process and as you can see from the photos, the guys got an incredible amount out of the surfaces yet you'd never know!
The course is absolutely stunning and the feedback from the visitors and selected members is much appreciated, it's hard to stress how good your course is compared to others! On occasions I'm sure, like most, the greens can become a little sticky as the day progresses but now the temperatures have increased the daily growth is huge and makes such a difference when playing, one of the elements out of our control I'm afraid! You just need to look elsewhere to see how lucky we are!!
Well Done Stewart
Saturday saw The June Monthly Medal take place on what was a great day for scoring. Stewart Philp plotted himself round with an excellent scratch 69 (4) 65 to win by three from Stuart Hamilton, Gary Stein and Matthew Miller all on 68. Again a great entry and with the season now in full swing and the club championship qualifying weekend not too far away things are looking good.
