Bursting At The Seams

Firstly I'd like to start this week by thanking all those who played on Saturday for their patience with my two new assistants, Katrina and Karen!

All seemed to go well, with no major disasters and the building still standing! Stewart, my new assistant, started this week so when you are passing, especially the early and late golfers that don't need to be checked in, pop your head through the door to say hello, if nothing else it allows him to put some names to faces that he'll see as the months progress. 

We continue to receive new stock and this week sees the arrival of some fantastic Callaway footwear, golf bags, Calvin Klein clothing (click here to take a peek), as well as Polo Golf (Ralph Lauren), which is expected towards the end of the week. 

We also have a new service in-store for all you overseas travellers! Should you need travel protection for your clubs we now have a travel cover service allowing a ten day hire for a very reasonable £15, our travel bags are exceptionally robust and safe and since they would set you back over £100 to buy, it's a great opportunity to save a little for that once a year trip! April Medal 

Saturday saw another great day on the links, again with over a hundred players, and with good weather for the majority of the day the scoring matched the conditions. Stuart Fowler came out victorious on countback from Stewart Philp with a nett score of 67; these are two members of the young team here at the club that the more experienced of you out there better watch out for! 


Gilchrist Handicap

This weekend sees The Gilchrist Handicap foursomes played on Saturday and please note that, due to the Lundin Vs Lundin Ladies match on Sunday, that the first and ninth tees will be shut at certain times to allow for the two tee start, any questions please give us a bell in the shop as there may be limited availability mid-afternoon!
