This week saw the arrival of some of our new spring/summer 2017 clothing ranges, with deliveries from FootJoy and PUMA we have some fantastic items with or without the club crest, shirts, sweats, wind tops and trousers in all sizes S - XXL. 

Shoes from FootJoy and PUMA are now also instore with ECCO and Callaway imminent!

 

New appointment

It's with great pleasure that I can announce my new appointment here in the Pro Shop, Stewart Watters currently working at Balbirnie Park will be joining us officially on April 3rd, Stewart brings a wealth of experience with him and I'm sure he'll be a great asset to us here at the club, Stewart may be popping in over the next few weeks and should that be the case I'll be sure to introduce him! 

With great experience in coaching as well as retail I'm sure he'll help me reach the next stage in my journey here at Lundie now I've entered my tenth year!


 

Captain Vs Vice Captain

With now only ten days to go  until our season opener be sure to get your name down for our annual shotgun event starting off our golf season for 2017, entries via the sign in sheet on the members notice board in the clubhouse please - with names coming in daily you'd best be quick! A great day with a few light refreshments to finish the afternoon!


 

Eclectic

Saturday saw some terrible weather for our last eclectic, 33 braved the elements with Stewart Clunie coming out on top this week with a terrific 43 points pipping Fraser Downie, Steven Meiklejohn and Joe Smith by three.

Modernising Golf's Rules

Last week the R&A proposed some key changes to the Rules of Golf from 2019. Their Rules Modernisation initiative has been underway for a few years now and this is the next stage in that process. The aim is to not only make the Rules easier to understand, but also to address some of the game's current problems, such as speed of play, and ensure they fit the needs of today's game.
