Saturday Eclectic
Saturday saw a down turn in the weather with a cold and slightly drizzly start to the day, it faired up reasonably well until the heavens opened at midday! The morning players took advantage of their good fortunes with 4 players tied at the top on 38 points with Russell Weir coming out the victor on countback. A close battle at the top with Joe Smith, Stewart Philp and Chris Bond marginally missing out.
With only 4 weeks remaining, David Imrie and Joe Smith are tied at the top on impressive scores of 54, with this pair playing together during the eclectic I can imagine the next few weeks will make for an intense finish. With a handful of players not far behind them who will come out on top? Peter Hunter leads the Handicap Eclectic on 50 with Fraser Downie sitting 2nd on 52.
