Monthly Medal Finals
On what was a horrible, windy, and damp day, Saturday saw our medal finals take place. With many cancelations due to weather, the competitors that did weather the storm managed to card some superb scores!
Andy Kerr came out on top with a superb gross 80 (10), nett 70 to hold off Gary Wilson on a countback, gross 74 (4), nett 70. Scott Dalrymple closely followed again with a great gross 74 (3), nett 71 beating Kevin Borthwick to third place.
Four Club
This weekend sees our annual end of season Four Club competition take place, there's still plenty of spaces left so be sure to get your name down if you wish to play.
Pro's Sweep
As the season has pretty much drawn to an end and our winter eclectic is only around the corner, the match committee have allowed me to hold one more counting medal on Saturday 29th October. This will be the very last counting event until March of next year, so be sure to get your name down! The event will run like our non-courtesy competitions so be sure to find some playing partners and book your tee time this coming weekend to ensure you don't miss out! Two or three balls only.
We await our delivery of winter hats, mitts and lined sweaters this week, as the weather seems to have taken a little turn for the worse be sure to pop in for a browse. Should there be anything specific you'd like please ask, I'm not going to say I can source everything but I will try!
Fraser On Tour
I'm doing my newsletter proof a little earlier this week with Fraser being away and the course being busy, so as I type I can update you that Frasers round one score of 79 (+8) was very respectable considering he had five birdies a nine and three doubles, which sees him mid table! You can keep an eye on the scoring by following this link, fingers crossed!
