June Monthly Medal

With no rain and lovely sunshine for the past week or two, the golf course has become very linksy. No more flying it at the pins and getting it to stop, which has reflected in the scoring as the lowest nett score in Division One was Bruce Reid's 71, beating Alex Watt on countback. Tommy Brown threw in a nice nett 69 to win Division Two by a single shot over Alistair Paterson. The bump and run shot is your friend!




Fraser's Adventures - On Saturday, Stewart Philp and Sam Nicholson have a Stephen Gallacher event at Cardrona, so Fraser is taking them, accompanied by Andy Sim, to play a practice round on Thursday. This will hopefully be beneficial to both Stewart and Sam where Fraser can help them prepare properly and take the money off Andy in the process.

Ron's Adventures - Ron is heading to one of our reciprocal golf courses - East Ren - on Friday to play in a Pro-Am, with it being his first 18 holes of golf in a long time. You may or may not find out next week how he got on.
