Captain vs. Vice

Last Saturday saw the season kick off with our annual Captain vs. Vice. Thanks go to Past Captain Hay for hosting the Vice's team in the absence of our new Vice Brian Main. 

It could only be described as an unbelievable day, the weather, the course, and the experience we all had during play made it one to remember. The Captain's team came out on top 9 ½ to 8 ½ with some great little matches having taken place. 

I can confirm that myself and the Captain were robbed at the 18th after Bryan holed from 25 yards for a half match! My only reply was, "At least Dick Turpin wore a mask." 

It's Captain's prizes this weekend and with the mats now off for the season the golfers are returning!!


 

Callaway Clothing

Last Friday saw a small delivery of Callaway apparel arrive,. This first batch is club crested, so if you're after a wind top or an insula top, please swing by! We also took delivery of Callaway footwear so the stock of shoes for the season is looking good. Ecco is still to arrive in around a week but we're aquickly taking shape! 

   

My new bats arrived on Monday but they are still in the box I'll report on their performance in the coming weeks.
